We're terribly sorry for the recent downtime the site has incurred, but we've been hard at work to bring the site back up. We've had issues with a few things including hosting issues as well as a bit extra, which I've outlined in our forum, but we're back now and we're working hard towards being better than ever before. Keep your eyes peeled for a forum update within the next few days that will include a section for average members to post news for the website in. That news can be taken and posted up by a staff member, giving full credits to the user, of course, and will be a great way that the community can take part in making the site a better place.
Also, it's HIGHLY advised to enter the Brewology Network through www.Brewology.com instead of using one of the mirrors like WiiBrew or PSPBrew because we're going to be adding news posts that are specific to the Brewology page itself about the latest tech trends and what-not and the only way to see such information is to enter the site through www.Brewology.com. Doing this will also filter the news from every aspect of our site into one convenient page for you to view! So please, if you haven't already, make sure to add the Brewology page to your bookmarks or homepage or just plain enter it in when accessing the site.

Graphix Brew is going to be coming back within the next few weeks. We will be updating the site with a PackGen that will be full of fonts, brushes, renders, and even PSDs! Continually check back for more and more updates and let's have the community grow!
*S.O.T.W. #1 will begin this week. Be sure to check the forums for details and be sure to enter!
Graphix Brew is also going to start a free signature section, where anyone can use the signatures that are posted there. You can find them in the "Gift" section in the forums. The first one is up, and here's a sneak peak!

Well sorry we were gone. Please be patient with the staff as we go through new updates. The Brew should be back up for a few weeks unless we come across more needed fixes. At least we can add more news for you now.

Well we are back! Thanks to MonkeyMaximus (I bother that man constantly for you members) the news maker is back up. Over the past week or so when we tried to post some news it would give a file permission error. Now it is fixed
so expect some updates on all of your favorite consoles.

Hello all, Reigo80 and I am proud to say we finally got the results in from our 1st annual Graphixbrew signature contest!
As we promised, the winners will recieve prizes for their effort and time staring at their computer monitors and producing pixel perfect images!
The winners are:
.Yunoko - Our grand prize winner! We can best decribe his signature to have a "unique design". He will recive a custom title, and a custom userbar!
TK421 - Our second prize winner! He has won second place by using hi won "Outstanding" techniques. He will recive a custom userbar.
And our last, but not least 3rd place winner will either choose to have his name here or a custom userbar.

For those of you who don't know GIMP is a free, photo-editing program similar to Photoshop. It consists of similar tools and can perform some of the Photoshop tutorials in the Tutorials section here at graphixBrew. To download GIMP visit www.gimp.org and continue to the downloads section.
There will soon be more and more GIMP tutorials that will be posted my me and other members. I personally will be re-writing some Photoshop tutorials for GIMP users to use (With permission from the Tutorial authors). If you need brushes for GIMP, private message me and I will tell you where to get some.
Also, if you are having any trouble understanding or working with GIMP, feel free to private message me or other GIMP users (Who will comment on this article so you know that those are the people to PM for help) and we will try and sort out your problem and make it easier to use.

For the first time ever, Adobe is delivering a widely available Photoshop CS3 beta to enable customers to more easily transition to the latest hardware platforms, particularly Apple's new Intel based systems. The beta is available as a Universal Binary for the Macintosh platform as well for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista computers, with the final shipping release of Adobe Photoshop CS3 planned for spring 2007.
I don't have it on my computer but I have tried it and it is really great. You can do so much more than with cs2, but its a little confusing at first so you need to put in some time. So you might want to stick with CS2 right now until CS3 is out or until you have some time to play around.
